Happy Teacher’s Day!

Not that a single day is anywhere near enough to express how much I love and respect my teachers, but at least I can express that feeling of thanks.

It seems like a long time ago, but it really wasn’t. You remember the, cough cough, incident at UC Davis, right? Well as it turns out, the university attempted to scrub that particular stain from the internet to the tune of almost 200,000 dollars.

Now, now. This is the age of information, guys. You can’t just ‘erase’ something from the internet. Now, filling the internet, various databased and indexes with cool UC Davis stuff is all well and good; but never forget what happened there and never forget why it matters.

These campuses belong to students. This nation belongs to the young people growing here right now and who are going to inherit everything it has to offer in the natural course of time. Remember those times when leaders and institutions forgot that and remember that they can’t hide from us anymore.
